Default 2005 rear shock absorber replacement

Hello, I was hoping someone may help with this please..

My rear shock absorber is leaking fluid… how can I tell if it has standard gas shocks or self levelling ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated !

All UK market XC90's (Phase1) had Nivomats, unless they have been changed at some point. The only exception was around 2010 where some were fitted with std shocks and springs, but they should have been recalled and replaced by Volvo shortly after delivery .... a phone call to your local Volvo dealer (Parks in Heathfield Road in your case) will confirm they are Nivomats.

Hope it helps.
