Red face 2016 V60 D3 P00BC00 error code

So my v60 has had a bit of a momentary loss of power for a fraction of a second, sort of a stutter and a while back a "reduced engine performance" came up.

I had a service and the reduced engine performance message went away for a while, but now about a month later it's come back along with the check engine light.

I plugged my reader in and watched the live data. Initially at idle, the commanded egr value was at around 30%, the Egr error was at 0% and the mass air flow sensor was at about 7g/s.
After about 2 minutes of idling, the commanded egr value went to 0 and the egr error was at 99%. The mass air flow then went to about 14.5. with a tap of the throttle all values went back to their initial values.

I'm no mechanic so I don't know if this is normal. Are there any other values that would be worth checking?

Thank you!
