Hi

Does anyone know if there is a connector available to connect an Ipod to the 6CD sound system on the XC90 ?

I know that Volvo have recently released a connector for some Volvo models, but it is not compatible with the XC90.

Does anyone know of a third party solution or if Volvo have plans to develop a connector for the XC90 ?

thanks in advance

As an update: I have contacted Volvo customer services by email and had this response:
Thank you for your e-mail. We do have an IPOD adapter available for our S60 and V70 models, but unfortunately no as yet for the XC90. We do have a solution available in some markets that transmits a signal through FM, but this system is not allowed to be used in the UK under current UK legislation. We are working on a hard wired solution for the UK market, but I'm afraid I cannot give you any timescales for this at this stage.
So it seems that there may be one in the future but no timescale. Seems like I will have to stick with my FM transmitter connected to the Ipod and broadcasting to the car radio. Naughty me.
