Hi all

I have recently bought a new XC90 D5 185bhp and I am seriously considering a re-map. Having checked out the array on ofer, I like the look of the Superchips version giving an extra 35bhp and 75nm of torque.

It is quite pricey at £599 but I like the fact that my car will be dealt with as an individual machine and not simply a 'one size fits all' job.

I am forming the opinion that the cost is probably worth it and 'you get what you pay for' springs to mind. Before I commit I would be interested in other owners of the D5 185bhp who have had a re-map or plug-in giving their opinion.

many Volvo owners have benefitted from RICA remaps, I have had good experience with them Petrol and Diesel.

Ditto here, back on my orginal XC90 (52) a few years ago, went for the power box, but have downloaded the Rica re-program, on all since both 163 & 185 versions, Certainly hepls with the towing

As above, Rica D5 map (although euro3) works well for me.
