I read somewhere (I'm sure it was on the forum, but can't find it again) a technical article about cleaning the air mixer box on the D5 engine.
Very good article, but couple of related questions to those who know.
1) What sort of mileage would you think about cleaning the mixer box, and do driving conditions have any sort of bearing on this, e.g. does a lot of town/stop/start driving make fouling more likely as opposed to more open road motoring.
2) What symptoms would give you cause to investigate the air box in the first place?
