Glow Plug Stuck !

Busy changing the above on my 1999 V70 & the one next to the power steering pump has stuck halfway coming out, just turning round & round - won't go back in or out !!

Anyone else had this & any offers re: removal apart from taking the head off !!

head off , thats the only way, however it shouldnt cause you any problems as long as it still seals to the head, leave it in and try the car, my son has a diesel zafira with a broken glow plug, has been running the car for 2 years and no problems. hope that helps.

It couldn't stay as it was as air was blowing past the plug when running !! Taken it to an engineering firm workshop/mechanic who used a slid hammer to take it out & is helicoiling a new insert for the new plug - should be a nice sized bill !!
