850 or V70 conversion to diesel

Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and happy to be aboard. I have been contemplating a diesel swap into a 850 or V70. Has anyone been down this road? Any suggestions of a source for a good complete engine and ECU, D5254T, or D5?

Are the 850/70 TDi models not available in Canada?

I'm no expert, but if they're not I'd say use the D5254T for ease.

If they are available, I have not seen one, most tend to be T5's. We do have 240 and 740 diesels.
