hello
i have the 940 TDI year 1995 the accelerator cable needs to be replaced .it can be dissconected quite easy where it wraps round the round ali drum at the rear of the engine but looks a bit more involved at the foot pedal end. can i just replace the cable or does the sleaving to be replaced also? all advice is most welcome.

If the sleeving is perfect internally and does not cause any interference with the cable then go ahead and leave it in place. However, I think the cable comes complete with the sleeve and cannot be dissasembled.
