Starting Issue
 

Hi all.
I own a volvo 2007 v50 sport 1.8 petrol. It is the first Volvo I have owned and so I’m not familiar with them at all. I have a starting issue. When I initially turn the ignition over, the car starts, revs to about 1200 and then dies within seconds. I then turn it over again and usually it starts fine second time around. Is there an obvious reason for this? Fuel pressure maybe? I have cleaned out the throttle body just in case it was sticking but that made no difference at all. It would be great to hear from anyone with advice or anyone with similar problems. Thanks, Louis
