Hold on a moment chaps, this is an AWD so non self leveling shocks were not available here!

In the US there was an S70 AWD model with normal rear shocks that you could fit but then there is the issue with springs. The springs on models with rear self leveling shocks (called Nivomats btw) are very soft and tbh if you want your car to be set up for the track then your only real option is a set of coilovers.

It's a pain but only 3 companies make coilovers for AWD cars. The front suspension is the same as normal models but THE REARS ARE DIFFERENT!

I've just ordered a set of the KW V2s from Larkspeed, I spent an afternoon ringing around all the supplying dealers and none of them would budge on price, only match each other (which isn't much use) so I bought from the cheapest I could find. £1133 delivered.

If you are feeling flush then there is a company called Intrax that make coilovers for the AWD model too, they can bought from European Tuning. They can be bought for €1924 delivered which is just over £1500 today.

There is also an American specialist called Kaplhenke Racing that sell custom made kits. They have the option to just sell you the rear setup so you can source your own front setup as again, the front setup is shared among all models so easy to get and cheap.

I decided to go with the KWs because they should be the easy option in my mind. I ordered them just a few days ago so will take about 2 weeks or so from this date until I get them (as they are ordered direct from the factory) and you can all be sure I will review and post about them when I get them. I am yet to read about them from anyone that has bought them so this will be interesting

If you only want the car to be lower then you can get away with just relocating the rear shocks with fooler bolts, see here.

There you go, a few options, one cheating way or the proper way, an expensive one though
