What I have noticed is that side has a newish caliper in it. Could it have cooked the bearing as the pads look ruined from heat as does the disc.

In all worn/noisy volvo wheel bearings I have come across the tone is always louder when the weight transfer is on that side... Are you sure it isn't tyres? This is becoming more common in recent years for some reason...
