Looking for an engine that could be easily swapped into a CVT-equipped 1995 440. It would be replacing a B18U 1.8-liter unit that's... not feeling well.

Also looking to have this engine shipped to the US.

The nuance here is that it would be installed by mechanics who've never worked on a 440 before, so any small parts that would be easily available in Europe for the retrofit process will not be available here. Therefore, something that's merely closely related might not work, so this would have to be foolproof to a much higher degree than for a shop in Europe working on this car. I'm basically looking to not have retrofit-related surprises midway through the installation that would halt the work.

Also, if you know an independent shop locally to you that could undertake the task of getting such an engine out of a 440 and having it shipped, that would be super as well.
