Bernard,
Wishful thinking on my part but i hoped it needed a gearbox flush and fill.
Just checked the gearbox dipstick and all seems fine, even the colour is still reddish. No black bits or any signs of knackered oil.
So its back to the drawing board as to what to do with it.
