Thought mine looked reddish & was all OK, till I did the oil change
Why not get a small receptacle & drop a little out of the box
I think you'd be surprised, I was.
Like I say when wiped from off of the dip stick with a bit of white kitchen roll the old oil still looked quite red.
But as you can see next to some new oil there is absolutely no comparison.
