My windscreen washers weren't working so went and checked and the pump was buzzing when I pulled the stalk.
On mine the water tank had a lot of sediment/black slime in the bottom blocking the outflow. I removed the tank and cleaned it out and checked the pump before refitting to see if it was spraying with the hose disconnected.
I believe from memory the pump has a filter?
