Default The BEST Volvo Dealer Service ....

The Best Volvo Dealership I currently use is :

MRG Volvo Chippenham ....

Why ?

* They work on any Age Volvo without giving you 'it's and old car' attitude !
* Will ensure the car is repaired on time, and more important on budget
* Courtesy Car
* Your able to talk directly to Technician
* Call to update you on progress

I have used them recently in November and January, and received excellent service in dealing with multiple faults on my C70 :

ETM Fault
AirFlow meter
Inlet temperature sensor

My latest dealings with them ....

Worried about how the cost could escalate on my C70's rough idle and hesitation between 3000-4000rpm, I had a quote before hand for the ETM.

They kindly gave me a new V60 Courtesy car free of charge for the day and I set off into town. I was updated 1 hour later that my inlet temperature sensor was faulty, they ordered a new one to arrive that afternoon. Later they called to say they found a broken wire also on my inlet temperature sensor, and the good news that my ETM was fine ....all good news so far... but the Airflow meter sensor was found to be faulty, due to the expense of replacing this unit they even went to the trouble to test drive my car with a new bosh sensor fitted to double check this was the fault.

Knowing my Budget wasn't massive, they asked if I had the original Bosh Airflow sensor that I could fit when I returned home which I did.
Went to collect car then was presented with a invoice half the cost of their original quote ....and with our Volvo owners discount ! I was very happy !

Will be using them for all my repairs from now on..... and living in Southampton it's a 160 mile round trip for me, but for this service, looking after my car and meeting my requirements, I'm more than happy to make the trip.....

There has been a lot of good reviews about MRG, they really do seem to do a good job and one of very few places these days that gives good customer service.

They are not a million miles away from me so might even drop in there the next time I need something.

I can only second the other comments made. I've used MRG over some years now, and have experience of all departments (sales, service and parts)

Clive Brook Volvo Bradford, Why
  • They always listen to my concerns
  • Nothing is too much trouble
  • Even when I had an intermittant fault that was difficult to trace they persevered for over a week until they found it
  • car always comes back valeted
  • always available on the phone for advice
  • courtesy cars always clean and waiting or delivered
  • technical knowledge far superior to some muppetts at other dealers

The only issue I have with them is they are uncompetitive when it comes to purchasing Volvo, they have looked after all my cars for the last 10 years but I've never bought one from them

The only dealer I'd put ANY trust in what so ever is MRG Volvo. Period.

As for Clive Brook I'd rather ride a 12hr time trial with a nest of wasps in my skin suit than go there

PS Clive - we're still waiting for a full and frank apology

Just bought our new v60 from Clive Brook. Clive and his sales/ service team came across very friendly and helpfull giving a good p/x value on what seemed like a fair priced v60. Liked the fact you can have a coffee and theres a few decent quality toys for the kids to play with.

I take people as I find them and for over 10 years they have been fantastic no issues at all, wouldn't hesitate to recommend them
