Other 70 Problem: - V70 Electric windows come back down

Hi,

when pulling on the power window switch all the way on the drivers door (past the intermediate fine adjustment setting) to close the window,the drivers window powers its way up to an inch from full closure and then sets back down to where it initially rested. I can fully close it by holding the switch until the window is closed.

Has anybody had the same problem? What is it?

Hi,

Just a guess here, but the windows will open if you have auto up fitted when there is an obstruction.

On that basis the window glass is meeting resistance on the return to closed and is opening again.
I would suspect that a clean and lubricate of the window runner should help.
Either talc or graphite should do...
