72 - 74 140 wiper motor
As a matter of urgency I am looking for a 140 Wiper motor for the late model 1972 to 1974. My current one keeps blowing fuses and I cannot find out why. The motor is needed for the Lands End to John 'o' Groats Historic Rally Trial starting 6 Dec 14. The normal sources do not have one I can get one from a European supplier but they only have Left Hand Drive cars. Thanks in advance.

It may be that the grease in the motor is so old, dry or gungey that it's putting too much strain on the motor and blowing the fuse? If you don't have any luck, you could override the fuse when it starts raining? very best of luck with the rally

This almost certainly crosses over with late 164 ones and may well be the same as those fitted to the 240 up to at least the early 80's. Who have you tried of the usual suspects? Amazon cars, Brookhouse, Braydons etc.
