Default 184,500 miles so far and no problems with clutch

The clutch seems just fine.

Double de clutching does nothing whatsoever to benefit synchro box. Indeed, by cycling the clutch twice it actually adds unnecessary wear to the release bearing and cover housing springs.

My 850 TDI did 230000 before it just started to slip. I have been nurturing the clutch for a few years waiting for the car to get to the end of its life. That never came so decided to get the clutch done. I now want the car to last forever.
