It will need a rebuild obviously as it's a 36 year old turbo on 144k miles. |

I've got two log manifolds and the first part of a 760 turbo downpipe I cut out of a scrap car about 14 years ago.

No the pump compresses the air that same as a turbo but with less lag.
In the Mirai it needs alot of air for the fuel cell. You can get other electric turbos but they are a bit pathetic. Certainly anything that runs of the alternator won't match the ability of a real turbo. You need an EV battery and controller to run this thing. |
