Developer can be contacted via e-mail at moleman1024dev@gmail.com

Apart from that, how's the EX30 going?

Thanks. Will drop them a line.

EX30 is good thanks. I have only had it since last Thursday, and been away in the van for Bank Holiday so have only done 400 miles but so far so good.

Different to the XC90 and definitely obviously smaller, but very well screwed together and very very smooth and fast. Floor feels a bit high as the batteries are down there so the back is not as comfortable for my daughter. As a commuting car it is perfect. For longer journeys we are generally in the van anyway and a long car journey we will probably use the V60

Android interface is different and better in many ways, but has some quirks which will take some getting used to, but I just need to adapt I guess.

Little things like using the cruise at 70, then braking to disconnect it and driving normally, then find I am in a 50 roadworks and want to set cruise to 50 seems impossible. It can only restart at 70 and then you have to frantically minus it down to 50 whilst the car is trying to accelerate. On the XC90 you could turn cruise off and on again to reset. It would appear on the EX30 that is not possible. Stuff I will adapt to, stuff I will work out how to do it and other stuff I will live with. Nothing worth getting annoyed about, it is just different.

On EX30 to set the cruise to 50 if you are in cruise off mode, just pull down on the gear selector again and that will reactivate and set at the speed you are at.

You could also resume cruise and then pressing the minus - button to reduce to 50, but that would be pointless, much easier to just pull down on the gear selector.

Unfortunately, at least at the moment, AudioWagon doesn't work in the EX30 as it has a slightly different Android system that doesn't support USB host mode.

I am thinking about getting the EX30 and will take a look when I get my XC60 (AAOS model) serviced soon. Out of interest do you have a home charger, if so which one? I only have a 3 pin plug close by to plug in over night when need to top up ( I will only do quite short journeys of around 50 miles from day to day ). Also what is the sound system like, is it decent enough? I guess the cabin is quite quiet when driving. Thanks.

I have an old 3.7kw pod point at home, but can also charge at work. If I charge at home much I might increase the supply cable to the pod point and frig it internally to convert it to a 7kw one.

To my untrained ear the sound system is very good. It all comes from a sound bar at the front of the dash. No idea how good it is for back seat passengers. Car is quiet and smooth and generally lovely and refined.

Brilliant thank you. Will try that on the way home.

Tried it last night and this morning. Works perfectly and makes perfect sense (there is even a little cruise symbol on the stalk I just hadn't seen it). Thank you so much for your help.
