I use a 12v power pack with a motorbike battery to run it so no mains power required. Means I can easily put them in the estate and take them anywhere to use as long as the surface is okay. I hang them on the wall when not in use. The lower lift scissor lifts were the other option for me but glad I went with the Quick Jack.

I've looked up Quick Jack, and single post jacks. There are lots of options all at quite reasonable prices. Once I've moved into the new place I'll see which will suit best.

Well I am very glad to report I just received email from local planning team, clicked to open with absolutely everything crossed.....

Section B:
Mid Suffolk District Council as Local Planning Authority, hereby give notice that PLANNING
PERMISSION HAS BEEN GRANTED

Just need the ££ to drop, email from them yesterday saying 3-5 days.......

May have a little trip down to Dorset to look forward to......

Finally indeed!!, it has been a rather frustrating process, but at least I've learnt to have patience and perseverance, something that I will no doubt need in copious amounts, with hopefully my 145 project....
