Anyway, the sea air must have got to me, as overnight the old grey cells were working overtime, as I had the thought, if its going to be a back to bare metal project, then how hard would it be to put one piece side rear windows in rather than the existing split ones????

Obviously got to find a pair, but I would have plenty of time to do this I would hope, whilst project metalwork is being done.

Price is now well over the earlier £2500 or so, also a bit odd as Moomoo mention change owner a few months ago, but the advert mentions owned 4 years.....

If window change is possible, could always contact seller and make an offer??

Cheers
Steve

PS - apologies if i raised this window question when it first cropped up last year, but I have looked back around sept'22 and cant find anything.

I wonder what that will make at auction!

As a 1.8 , it could make a useful VWW! Not a Swede but has potential.🙂

Nice find Steve, shame about the colour as it's known to be a fugitive colour so will end up as a rough looking pink with purple tints as soon as the sun hits it!

Had a couple of Marinas when i was only a pup, a 1.3 in that same colour (hence knowing it's a fugitive colour!) and a later 1.7HL in Denim Blue metallic with a black vinyl roof.
Like all cars they have their faults but overall, a pretty good machine, simple to work on and being a VWW, a useful load-lugger.

I thought it was on a Classified Andrew?

Perhaps went through the auction at Silverstone and didn't make reserve?
