HA HA!

You havent got a bulletproof vest by any chance?

I know that idea is a bit naughty and it could in fact cause another accident so scrub it, but something needs to be done, I couldnt comprehend the loss of one of my children, like I say, maybe a chain accross, at least its not a permanant fixture, it would slow people down and make them think twice, they would have to spend time stopping, getting out driving forward, getting back out to replace it, its a cheap idea that may help???

Bit naughty I know but what about "borrowing" a few large boulders and placing them along the disputed route. "Dont know where they came from officer", but while you are here?

Not a bad idea, the criteria I assume is that the residents need access to their own drives with their cars so some form of access will be needed, TBH any car driving down that path would be dangerous, but the residents will be driving slow any how to turn into their drives, it either needs blocking at one end or some form of slowing down feature.

I bet there has been a few rows over the years with irate residents and "joe public" using it as a short cut.

Maybe a massive petition, an online vote, loads of signatures and airing the concerns to the local MP???

I dont know how these things work (petitions etc) but someone will, stage a protest, a small demonstration in the street or outside the town hall I dont know how many people or how far people would want to take it?

Jokes aside, if someone ran over one of my kids I would personally throw them for real under a bus, this is a serious and potentially very dangerous issue that needs addressing sharpish, its only a matter of time I rekon before something tragic could easily happen!

Saying that Andy, it would be the fool who hit my child in a car that would need the vests

I just don't understand the mentality of some people.

As the nearest main road has been made 1 way due to roadworks (expected to last for 6 weeks, yet it was a whole week before they actually started any work) the problem has been a lot worse. As I'm off work I 've taken to blocking the Way with my car more than I normally would. Yet despite it obviously not being passable people still attempt to drive through. Case in point being I just heard a horn pipping outside and when I looked out of the window I saw an unfamiliar black Vauxhall. The driver eventually moved far enough forward for me to see it was a blonde woman and when she looked at me I just stared right back. She eventually got fed up of waiting and reversed back up. I wonder where people like that get the arrogance that they see its blocked yet still drive down and pip their horn and expect people to move for them.

And to cap it all off she was using her mobile phone as well. Should have some good pics from my camera.
