I see you're very stubborn but ask yourself a question - do you really feel confidence to what you are doing and the way you are trying to identify problem? why dont you save time and visit a garage for a proper diagnostics? Enthusiasm is good thing and good way to learn but it doesnt always help when you lack of knowledge and experience. It can hit your pocket in the end. If there is teeny tiny crack like you describe it - this is not a cause of the problem. I will not go into details but more revs - less exhaust gas to the cylinders if EGR is fully functional. smoke test costs £30 if I am not wrong Wish you good luck with this

Ok so my issue has been fixed
It turns out it was the turbo governor, I originally stripped and cleaned it but with no joy, and I also bought a second hand one too but with no joy I replaced it for brand new Walla fixed Turns out that according to the guy who knows a lot about these told they never fail mechanically it's always electrical He said that because of where they sit they are prone to a lot of heat and other road containments and usually it's a cracked electrical joint, so when cold will work ish but as it gets hot the problem gets worse He also told me that sometimes he has come across and issue where the fuse in the engine bay that controls the solenoid comes loose and a simple push back in can fix the issue I think he said it was fuse 11 Now all I gotta do is figure out best way to restore mpg as I only got 31mpg on a 160 mile motorway trip |

I only get 29 mpg. If I put the cruise control on and do 60mph on a long journey I can get 36mpg.
