Get back to basics;
check tyre pressures
are the tyres the same on each axle?
get the camber/caster checked through a proper laser alignment(not tyre depot)
otherwise i would be thinking of a new steering rack..

Search "alignmycar" on the net, a bit dear at £70 but reckoned to be worth it.

This is a very good description of what the problem is. Excactly the same.

Let me know if you find out anything about it.

I'm probably off the mark here but my 170 SE simply doesn't respond to 'turning quick' regardless of good wishbones, good tyres and decent condition shock absorbers. It's a big heavy car with a natural tendency to significant understeer with little in the way of true 'feel' through the steering, especially with an auto box to blunt any ability to use a bit of throttle to change line, which means two things: you either drive it in a sedate manner or you set yourself up for a corner and apply a bit of bike technique - 1 steering input to get you into and around the corner: no adjustments should be necessary. Even then, if you're pushing it hard it just wallows and lurches.

Admittedly this doesn't solve the perceived excessive self-centering but the phrase 'turning quick' is not one I'd apply to a V70 unless it's perhaps one of the sporty types with suspension to match (T5/R)
