The sales manager sounds like my guy. I have had to do all of the chasing, even pushing him for the handover, which you would have thought would be something they’d want to get sorted quickly so that they can tick you off. I’d look to go elsewhere for my servicing as a protest gesture but those sensibly local to me are all the same dealership.

Default Car Finally arriving next week

Having ordered our car back in August last year, we have finally had confirmation from the dealership that the car will be ready on Tuesday next week. Looking forward to getting hold of our new xc60.

Default Lead time of new 2025 `Stock` XC60 Plus

Hi All, Has anyone recently ordered a 2025 Volvo XC60 Plus that is already in planned production and delivery phase and is available as a "stock' on the website. Currently see the earliest delivery of 11 weeks . So trying to assess how reliable these timings are .

Mine was pretty accurate from "stock"
It told me 7 weeks delivery and it was spot on.

It's a MY25 as I was able to enter the details into the App and it brought up the car as a 2025
That would make sense!
I went to my dealer yesterday just to have another spin in an XC60 as I placed my order on a stock car pretty spontaneously and hadn’t test drove one for a while. They were able to bring up my scheduled build date which was then showing a subsequent delivery date 2 weeks later (I think it was).

Doh! Placed an order about 10 days ago on a stock car. Typical they’re now offering free servicing for 4 years on the XC60! I don’t know whether to cancel my order now and re-order

You can do that and still get the same car. There is a process for this and there is a particular form issued by Volvo which means you get the same car. I did it with mine when it was at the port because it was 4 months since I had ordered and they added £1k deposit contribution on zero percent Volvo loan, so I cancelled, reordered the same car and basically got a grand off.

Oh really? That’s interesting to hear!
I did ring Volvo UK and they were next to useless. It was a stock car I ordered and they said I had to cancel my current order and basically wait for it to come up again a few days later (with no guarantee I’d even be able to buy it again if I wasn’t quick enough). I have emailed my dealer instead to see if I can get some more sense from them.

Hi Lexman8

As we ordered the 'same' car in september I was wondering what service plan was included. I recall it was a 4 year plan for electrics and my dealer said i have a service plan valued at £1499 included. (which i assumed was also 4 year as a 3 year plan was £699 option from November. The car app is now showing a 3 year plan so before I contact the dealer (who i imagine will say contact volvo UK) thought Id check your recollection ?

See you car is now a month away (phew), I found that clicking on the volvo order link gave an accurate countdown for the last few weeks
