Default Advice on getting bumpers re-chromed

Just about to purchase some cow horn bumpers with all bracketry for my '68 P1800
Tried a few companies and my goodness a little pricey.
Had quotes just for front cow horns ranging from £360 down to just over £200.
Am from the North west blackpool, can anyone recommend somewhere not a million miles from me.
Cheers
Steve

I had my hinges and handles done for my estate tailgate and it was £90 without vat. Expensive but apparently the company that did them are supposed to be about the best there is left in the UK. It was in London though so not much help but is the proper copper, nickel and chrome.

Thanks Khe Sanh,
Pay cheap buy twice if I'm not careful, can you remember what the company was called. Will certainly enquire as quite a lot of companies to a pick up service and not too bad a price.

The one in London is London Chroming
In Yate just outside of Bristol is S&T Electroplate
Both good.
I had my bunpers done by London Chroming around 2006/7, recall it cost £750 cash.
Finish is still good with no rust thru

Hi,I have used Bob Cooper of chrome restoration services for a number of projects his work has been first class. I usually drop stuff off to him at the Jaguar spares day in Stoneleigh and he posts them back to me. The number I have for him is 01785 212878. I am about to give him some Amazon stuff to get done.

Derby Plating Services are also good and have done a few bits for my Amazon. Not cheap or local to you, but worth a mention nonetheless.
