not getting quite as good a review on that sit but i have had these on a few cars now and really like them Avon ZZ3 http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Avon/ZZ3.htm

http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m62b4s0p0

Not sure what size you need but would bet they are cheaper per tyre for Camskill.

Cheers.

my size is 225/45/17 94Y

Those Avons are 3 quid cheaper per corner.

These are also available for an excellent price.

Kuhmo KU31 Ecsta Sport

"only" £243 delivered.

I seem to remember having them on my previous E39 touring and they were fine.

Price is a big consideration as the car is going to the garage on Monday for a big service (all fluids), new rear discs/pads/shoes, gearbox drain/refill, try and fix fault with rear window demister and drivers heated seat. It's going to sting a bit!

not a big fan of Khumo myself, at £71 each plus £10 for delivery they do work out about £50 more though. as i have tried them before i would be going for the Avons again.
They are the same size i had on my S80. found them great for the price, you will be well cheesed off as i just sold 4 of them for £100 they had done about 3000 miles and were like new, i took them off before sending the car to auction

Yes, I've had them too, on another E39, forgot about Falken.

I think I'll just get the cheapest out of the ones mentioned on this thread. They are all black, round and hopefully don't cause the car to nearly crash under light braking in damp conditions (unlike the wing**** 35 quid a corner specials that are on there now).
