Default New car, first issue...

Evening folks, have recently bought a 53 plate v70 d5, out and about today and at slow manouvers(like parking etc) there is a squeak when steering is turned, anything above say 5 mph and its not there. Also noticed back nearside wheel was very hot when i stopped, i could feel the heat against my leg as i was getting little one out of her car seat....Any ideas anybody???? thanks in advance.

Don't know about the squeak but the hot wheel needs immediate investigation. Could be a partially siezed brake caliper or trouble with the handbrake shoes (very common). You should get this car to a garage quickly before something expensive happens!

Is it the wheel or the hub getting hot. If it's the hub could be the bearing. Or wheel maybe a sticking caliper. Is it front or back.

I would take it stright to the garage , even get it taken there. It could well be the rear handbrake shoes coming apart and jamming.
