Default convertible 54 -SRS light, non active code

Bought a C70 54 automatic, petrol recently and SRS light came on. Garage reset for £50. two days later it came on again, they reset, it has come on again. They say it is a non active code. Also the battery failed and we replaced it. Can anyone advise us please. Thanks.

SRS faults - most common cause (by a long way!) is dodgy wiring or connectors under the seats. Check/re-seat all of these and there's a good chance the problem will go away. Unfortunately the light will still be on, so will need another re-set.

Cheers

Just to add to the above post. Disconnect the battery and leave it for several minutes before fiddling with the connectors. It's only a small chance, but you don't want to short something and have your air bag all disappointed at going off on a false alarm.
