Default 05 XC90 Dog Guard

Hi,

Is there a "fold-up-away" dog guard available for a 05 XC90?

We have an XC70 as well which has a "fold-up-away" dog guard which is brilliant, so is there such a thing for the XC90?

We frequently transport stuff around so we fold down the rear seats (the 3rd row of seats are always folded down) and its a real pain having to unscrew the universal guard.

I can't seem to find anything apart from a roll-up dog net.

Any help please as our Airedale pup is a night mare in the XC90!

Many thanks

Glenn

Thumbs up Different to the V70

Hi
Nothing for the XC90 like the V70 ones that pull up from the back of the seats.
I have the metal Volvo guard, its an impressive piece of kit that looks like it would stop a bull elephant in must, but not easy to store. this is the link.

I think Volvo fit a flexible one but for behind the third row only.

I got this one. Sadly does not fold up but is extremely easy to instal / uninstall.
Took me less than 10 mins from opening the box to install it.

You can get genuine Volvo foldable mesh ones that fit behind the 2nd row of seats - they use the same roof fittings as the all metal ones. Plenty about on the usual places, just google xc90 folding dog guard. Here's one that I found:

Cheers all, this has been most helpful. The fold-up nylon mesh type seems the best solution.

The nylon mesh system is really meant for luggage restraint rather than animals. Most dogs can't chew thru' tubular steel .
