Default CKP sensor

Recently,as I drive my 1991 240 Estate 5 spd, as I approach the shift point speed, as indicated by the dash light, the engine stutters, as if it's low on fuel. But, if I continue to accelerate without shifting into the next gear it clears up. I have checked my CKP sensor and it has a resistance of 179 ohms. However , on the 2 other 240's I own, the resistance was 184 and 183 respectively. Upon purchasing a new CKP it bench tested at 159 ohms. Plus, unlike the repair manual, all have 3 prongs instead of 2. Also, when I read the codes from the DLC it showed a 232 code,(adaptive lambda control too lean/too rich when idling). One other note, 2 days ago, 4/28/2011, as I was driving , the car started stuttering and finally stalled. After popping the hood and finding nothing, I assumed it was a clogged fuel filter. I waited several mins. and then was able to start and drive to my shop where I replaced the Bosch filter. There is 328,568miles on this auto. I am assuming it was the original filter. I had thought this might be the source of my original stuttering problem, but alas it was not. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there I may be a bit slow? But is the "CKP" sensor the same as a "LAMBDA" sensor?which screws into the catalytic converter or just before it?
Another little query? Is it an auto or a manual gearbox?
You say when approaching fifth gear and later say it's an auto? Also the dash shift light? comes on when approaching fifth?.

Once we get these few things worked out we may be able to help.
Your english is very good but some translations don't always come across right.
Regards Brian.

Brian ,I have 328 thousand plus miles on this automobile was the sentence I believe you were talking about. The automobile has a 5 spd manual transmission. Hope, that cleared things up.
