Default V60 Cross Country D4 AWD

Towed with my V60 Cross Country for the first time on Tuesday and home again today, very impressed.

Probably has the edge over my previous XC60 D5 for stability, didn't notice a lack of power with the D4 engine.

Two issues though ... on a previous VW with stop/start (and VW towbar) the stop/start de-activated when towing. I had to switch it off manually on the Cross Country (Volvo towbar). Is this correct?

Second issue. The V60 has a removable towbar (prefer fixed but Volvo only do a removable on the Cross Country). The 13 pin socket is way under the bumper which is a real pain, have had to pack a mat to kneel on to connect it.

Overall though very, very pleased.

Can't answer your questions, but looks a tidy well-balanced set up!

Iain, I currently tow with a 2013 XC60 with start/stop and this is automatically de-activated when I am towing. Regards

Interesting ....

Forgot to turn it off today when towing to Edinburgh CC Site ... didn't kick in when we stopped at the Maybury roundabout so maybe it does de-activate
