Default Fault code P2187

Right, continuing with my engine running strangely, I have now purchased a code reader and used it with the Torque app and this was the result I got

P2187-Powertrain system too lean at idle bank 1

Anybody able to shed some light on what this means please?

I'm probably on a different planet, but...
Front Lambda getting a faulty reading from MAF????
Perhaps the MAF is fouled or faulty.

I thought it could be the MAF, but having looked it up online, there was a recall on S40's due to this fault code and it was because the PCV units were splitting, and mine started playing up not long after I cleaned mine out, so maybe one of the pipes is loose?

I will check this and then check the MAF

Anybody have any other ideas??

Probably an air leak somewhere after the MAF

You were right, new MAF and the light hasn't come back on (yet!)

Now all I need to do is sort out this hesitation under hard acceleration and when going uphill!
