Sat Nav won't rise and switch on
I've recently purchased an 06 XC90 D5 but I can't get the sat Nav to switch on. I've checked what I think is the correct fuse. I've tried prying it up from the dash without success. I can't hear any noises indicating a jam or broken gear in the motor to rise the display. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The previous owner may have turned it off.
Once turned off, it stays off until turned on again. To turn on: turn on the ignition, press the ENTER button on the remote control or the steering wheel nav control to switch on the nav system If that doesn't work, then report back, and advise if anything in the vehicle such as phone, stereo, etc is non-standard.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I tried the power on options previously. There are no non standard options on the vehicle.

If you know someone with Vida you can try activating it up / down that way. You'll also be able to diagnose it whilst you're on.
