Non Functional rear Wiper on 2001 Volvo

Hi, I'm Bikerdude and i have a 2001 Volvo V70 and my rear window wiper. when i activate the button on the control switch i hear a click coming from the rear wiper motor, but motor will not function. Does anyone have a solution to this problem, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your advice/comments.
