S40 T4.......any offers?

Hi.

I have an R reg (1998) S40 T4 in dark metallic green that is MOT`d until the start of February 2013. Because of a few faults on the car I won't be bothering to renew the MOT next month so rather than just sell it for scrap I wondered if anybody would like to make an offer with the intention of getting it in good condition again or using it for spares.

It has alloy wheels with four good tyres and full black leather interior in good condition. The turbo and air-conditioning still work as do all the electric windows and electric sunroof. The battery and alternator are also perfect.

The faults are as follows,

The paintwork on the bonnet has gone flat and is peeling, but the rest of the car is in good condition.

The engine has an oil leak, but where from I don't know.

It has just started to idle a little roughly occasionally, sometimes it runs perfectly other times it might stall.

I would love to know it has gone to someone who cares for it as basically it has been the best car I have ever owned and until last year had no problems at all. If you need any more information please get in touch.

Dan is due to be looking at it very soon, and I have promised him first decision on it, but if for any reason he doesn't want the car then I will let you know.
