how much does it cost for a repalcement head unit for the hu-850 - rip off uk prices only please

i might ber wrong,but i recalect seeing that the dealer offers a reasonable exchange scheme on radio/cd units

they used to it was about £150 but now £500 + exchange

i have just tested the connector on the back of the unit ... there is no voltage on either the red or purple wires. i have checked the fuse 10 and 11 in the passenger fuse box, they are both ok.

basically after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery the stereo is now dead, no backlight, nothing. All other electrics are ok.

could this be a software problem from disconnecting the battery? or funky wiring?
