I was in a dilemma when hearing the news on the model year changes for the XC90, as I was soon going to take delivery of an Active spec (geartronic, winter pack, power child locks, airbag cut off switch and running boards). The differences between a MY2010 and MY2011 Active spec as far as I could tell was the MY2010 had the Xenon Active Bending Lights as standard and the MY2011 did not. The only other option that a MY2011 could spec was integrated bluetooth, but as I could spec this up albeit as a 3rd party option was not too bothered so stuck with the MY2010 and saved some money in the process due to the lighting (which was more valuable to me than integrated bluetooth).

Having spoken to the suppying dealer there are no engine changes or any other changes of any real significance.

Not sure of changes on SE/Exec as I didn't look in to it any further.
