I was told there wasn't one for the XC60 until June/July though. They told me that last Weds.

UPDATE

I have had my V70 back for a month and have not yet had a BLIS Service message

Previously this was nearly every day, now 30 days without a message!

Further update

Whatever was changed in the software has prevented any further issues.

Hi Chapi,

Hope you don't mind me asking, but which garage sorted the BLIS service issue for you?

I have the same issue with mine and it's been in to a main dealer (who I shall never use again - a long story!!) for two whole days to be sorted. I then get in the car on collection at the dealer and turn the ignition on only for the warning to appear again. I go back in and explain, so they take it back in and "tighten the crimp" they've found that was loose and say it's all done.
The next morning the light is on again!!

I had told them about other people having the same issue and that there may be a service / software upgrade for it only to be laughed at!!

I am now going to take it to someone else who knows what they are doing (a proper Volvo dealer! - the one local to me that I have been using is a Ford / Volvo dealer and I think are more familiar with Ford cars and Ford level of service too!!).

I really want to get this sorted while it's under warranty.

Many thanks

Sean

Hi,

I'm based out of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, is that enough to locate the dealer :-). As a rating they have been excellent.

Mines not 100%, it seems to not like the winter, but is 99%

The combination of low light levels and lots of cars with lights on, confuses it occasionally on motorways and gives the "Service Required" message. But this is now quite rare and only maybe 1 or 2 times since early December.

Other than that, it's been fine since the upgrade.

Just had a new software load for Sensus issues.

Thanks for the feedback - I did wonder if it would be local to you. Locality is why I used the current dealer (they are walking distance), but I used to drive my car up to Ipswich for service previously (a Saab) due to outstanding service, so Bury St Edmunds is not too bad.

Interesting you still get the warning coming on every now and then though.

Mine came on again in daylight on a clear day though!

Thanks again.

Default BLIS driver's side problem - 2011 XC60

Hi - The BLIS indicator on the driver's side of my car is constantly flashing but does not error out. I cleaned the camera and it hasn't rained here in awhile so it is not weather related. Has anyone else experienced this on only one side of the car? Suggestions please?

If turning it off/on by the BLIS button doesn't sort it out I would think there is a short circuit in the mirror sensor
