Default 2015 V60 Air Con Drainage Question

Wonder if anyone could assist with more knowledge than myself.....

I recently followed the various instructions on cleaning out the drainage elbow joint on my V60 on the drivers side floor.
Upon moving the heat shield away from the pipe exit underneath the car my finger went through some sort of thin foil coated material exposing what looks like fibre type material.
I can only assume this is some sort of noise cancelling material or heat insulation over the exhaust.

Can't for the life of me find anything showing or discuing similar on the various forums just the solid metal heat shields, I don't have the equipment to get a look from underneath just through the drainage exit hole.

Does anyone know what this foil coated material is?
And
Will there be any issue with the air con drainage now soaking onto this material after I broke the foil coating?

Apologies if it's a daft question but it's bugging me.

Thanks in advance.
