Default Loose Connections

Hi,

Car's a 1988 240GL Estate with CI fuel injected B200E

I have three lose wires, two of which I think I know about and one I don't.

There's one behind the radio I think this anticipated an automatic radio aerial I don't have.

There's one near the main engine wiring connector which I understand might be an in-service connector allowing mechanics to remotely trigger the starter motor/cold start injection system.

The third is a single green wire behind the dashboard and I have no idea what this might connect to. Any suggestions?

Check out the wiring diagram link in the articles section. Go to figure 3 and you will see a whole bunch of greens off fuse 8 feeding mainly courtesy lights etc... It will give you a good list to start eliminating things.

Yes, I had wondered if some models had a courtesy light in the driver's footwell and whether this was the wiring for that.
