Default Quarter light mirror

I have a proper wing mirror for my 1965 P1800S but have got the nerves in drilling holes in the body.

Anyone using quart light fixed wing mirrors - are they OK?

Cheers

Peter

Personally I think door mirrors are safer than those on the wing, even if not as aesthetically pleasing. If you drive in Europe much then look for a pair, otherwise one is fine. You can pick up original-shape Volvo mirrors from the usual suppliers, and they look good on Amazons, not sure about P1800s.

Get one that you can replace easily. Nothing worse than drilling too holes, and then the mirror gets broken and you have to drill other holes because you can't get the same type.

Good hunting.
