Rather, it won't play on the app but does on the website.
Strange. Is there any leakage around the injectors?

No leaks....I did have a quieter noise on start up but went after 2-5 minutes.
I travelled 30 miles and all seemed fine....didn't use for 3 hours started it and it cut out on tick over.....Two hours later had to get jump leads on as battery was dead which was strange as it's only 2 years old and a good battery....anyhow got it going but there was the noise as usual on start up but it didn't go it just got like it is..... A friend of mine who works at a garage said a few weeks ago that the intermittent noise could be a sticky lifter...and now he says it sounds like it's collapsed....could this be the case or could it be something more substantial. Cheers for the help guys |

Hi Daz
LOOK at the HP pump is on the right as you are looking in to the engine bay make shore all of the cables are plugged in, as I had that noise and no power on my D5 and it was a cable that had came unplugged from around there, Dave |

Not only was there no power(battery) there's a big lack of horsepower as well.
The battery/electric problem seems ok now as it started after being stood for 2 days...the horrible noise is still there |

Yes that is what I meant big lack of horsepower, right side of the engine connector on or near Hi pressure fuel pump,

Yes it is a electric plug
I Can Not remember what one it was, but I think it was on the high pressure fuel pump, it was about 3 years ago, Dave |
