Default Grey pipe (dashboard removed)

Hi,

Long term reader here and finding myself posting for the first time for help.

I've just removed the dashboard out of my 2018 V40 R-Design. About to refit my new one and cannot figure at all where the square end of this pipe connects to.

Written on the pipe is IHU Cooling part number 31442523. Contacted Volvo and they were no help at all.

Does anyone know where they exactly this pipe connects to please?

That looks like the drain pipe from the evaporator, volvo probs weren’t much help as there is zero information on VIDA showing it so they probably don’t know unless you speak to a man who has had one in bits. I’d say that the end will clip to a drain in the floor or the car or similar as obviously the water makes its way out with the AC on.
