Wiper relay for the front windscreen.
On my V70R i have the 99 relay fitted, which replaces the original relay and gives you variable wiper motions, does anyone know what number and where the relay is on the p2 40 series? as i would love to swap them over and see if it will work on it.
Gary.

your compairing a VOLVO against a volvo where with the more classic motors the relays were inside square metal cans not all of the equivalents are in our S/V40`s in the same format in the passenger compartment fusebox are the more common non serious problem items like turn indicators, seat belt reminder, cig.lighter etc. in metal cans but the windscreen wiper relay is in the CEM next to the rear wiper one and they are of the flat quiet type relay which you have to solder in i very much doubt if you could get a relay substitute which would do what you require the only way i can think of is trying to rewire the wiper signal through a custom relay box via the stalk but it will be complicated there may be something on the market, i don`t know! at least it gives you something to dwell on
