Will C70 front seats fit in a V70?
Hi,
As title, seen a C70 in the breakers with nice heated half leather front seats, planning to get these to replace my tatty front seats in the '99 V70. Will they bolt straight in? Assume electrical (airbag) and heated seat connectors etc will be the same too? Many thanks, Dave

Can someone with a C70 confirm if the seatbelt buckle (the bit the seatbelt clips into) is part of the seat on the C70 please?

It's bolted to the base of the seat.

Pay close attention to how the belt attaches to the seat on the older cars there is a nut and bolt through the loop formed in the end of the seat belt, on later cars there is a quick release clip, whilst it is possible to alter the attachment bracket from the new style to the older one it involves the use of a milling machine (or it did the last time I did this job), modifying a new style quick reales attachment to the older nut and bolt method isn't something I have tried.
When you take the outboard seat side trim off (the part with the electrical switches in it there should be a red plastic ring stowed within the trim, remove this and slide it down the reel initiator to prevent inadvertant operation of the seats safety system - Mike |

The bottom of the seat belt Is attached to the bottom of the seat and rear mounting bolt and you won't be able to make the v70 seatbelt work you would have to take the seatbelt as well.
