I'm afraid to say that the XC60 is no different to any other car and things may go wrong!! I would assume that the repairs are carried out under warranty because at 14k wear would seem unusual, more like oil contamination? I have to say that the dealer experience I have had has been pretty good and hopefully yours has been as well.

I would also have to say that I have been very pleased with the car after having had german marques previously.

Try being a bit more diplomatic.

Eeeee thats harsh! Could be a faulty clutch? Dealers will be able to tell from the friction plates if he or she has been riding the clutch.

Understand the OP's frustration though at the clutch going so soon. Probably just been unlucky in this instance unless people step forward with a whole host of clutch problems.

60 plate D3 here with 19.5K on the clock. Still going strong (I hope!)

Best of luck getting it fixed OP. Don't lose faith in the XC60 though. It is a great comfy cruiser. Fingers crossed it gets sorted under warranty for you.

What - Volvo don't have any quality problems? That would be amazing as they will be the first Engineering company to have achieved that!
