Any pics with them fitted and on (night).

Look good, but how do you find them?

Haven't had them fitted to the car yet.
Need to find out where to place the ballasts first, then I'll fire them up.
My initial thoughts are to secure them up in the inner wing above the headlight.

So, I finally got round to installing the headlights!

Ballasts had to mounted up above the headlights on the front panel/inner wing area.
Anyway, here are the pics:-

First up, OEM H7 halogen beams up against a wall

Comparison of H7 halogen (on left) against D2S xenon with clear lens (on right).

Both D2S beams together

As you can see, they're very bright in the "hot spot" of the beam & a nice sharp cut off.
They have some mad colour flicker at the top the cut off. Will try to capture this is some pics later.

A couple more pics in daylight of the projector lens:-

That looks good and impressive, will be good to see a pic in the dark with both DS2's in.

I got myself some clear projector lenses but not got round to fitting them, the DS2 set you have does look like a nice change and powerful.

Thanks!
Summer nights mean I don't have much chance to test them out in the dark!
Will try & get some up soon though.

Which clear lenses did you get?

I picked up some 3" STI-R Clear lenses, I should really check that they do indeed fit in correctly. Will stick it on my list to do and perhaps have it done this week or next.

Looking good!

Have you been able to get much use in the dark? I find that my factory xenons are ok until there is some ambient light, ie street lights, then they just seem to disappear as though they're off. Also the other big test for me would be they're performance on a dark unlit A road in the rain.

Would you be able to keep us updated as you use them in different conditions?

Cheers

They're nice lenses & should be fairly straight forward to fit.

When I did the alignment, I took it for a drive for 10mins around town. I could clearly see the beam on the road ahead of me.
I can imagine they would be awesome on an unlit A road.

Will update with more use & different conditions.
